Who has been knowing that the career of famous singer David Bowie started at a song contest in the little Italian town called Monsummano Terme? To remember that historical event Italian artist Mario Romani launched an exhibition featuring the art of the Italian Airbrush association A.I.R. (Aerografisti Italiani Riuniti) and airbrush artworks dedicated to David Bowie. The first edition of this exhibition took place in Rome at the beginning of 2020, shortly before the pandemic took flight. It can be viewed even now right on up to October 3rd in Monsummano Terme, at the famous museum Museo di Arte Contemporanea e del ‚900. There, the museum administration has dedicated a park and a number of events to the rock star in honor of Bowie’s career begin 50 years ago.
