Pablo Picasso is one of the favourite artists of Australia bound artist Joseph Gonzalez. Picasso has experimented with various art forms from realism to abstract. Joseph Gonzalez has used a simple mono airbrushing technique to paint his idol for his personal home gallery.
About the artist:
Joseph Gonzalez was born in Barcelona, Spain, and lives in Australia. He started his art career in the art department as a layout/paste up artist at a print shop. He moved on to the Government Environmental Department and worked as a Draftsperson and Graphic Designer. During this time he finished a Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design and a Certificate in Interactive Multimedia. He found himself lecturing and instructing at The Technology School of the Future for a couple years. He then started his own graphic design business where he had clients like IBM and TAFE Colleges as well as many local businesses. At the age of 50 he picked up the airbrush and has been addicted ever since. For the last 6 years he has been self taught through experimenting and making mistakes. The Airbrush Step by Step magazines have been an inspiration and he is always striving to reach a higher standard.
