A sad day for the airbrush world: Five days after Mike Lavallee was hospitalized due to a stroke and cerebral hemorrhage, the famous American airbrush artist died on Tuesday, April 14.
Mike became famous mainly for his TrueFire technique, templates and videos and was also a popular lecturer and outstanding custom painter. He was a regular guest at major American events such as the Airbrush Getaways, Airbrush Rendezvous and the SEMA Show. Every two years he also organized his own artist event with the MonsterBash. In Europe he also toured several times as a lecturer. Artists worldwide will miss him painfully as a role model and friend.
