Did you think that there was nothing more that could be done to improve compressors? Well, you thought wrong! The inventive construction work of the worldwide known airbrush and compressor manufacturer Sparmax has now brought along a new compressor made with an innovative Smart-Stop holder. Ideally, an airbrush artist uses a compressor with an automatic switch-off program. So, once you don’t need to use any air anymore, the classic oil-less compressor turns off automatically. This is a bit different with the Sparmax Zeta, because in this case, the compressor first stops when the user places his/her airbrush into the table stand. If the airbrush is then removed again from the holder, the compressor starts up automatically once again. This reduces the kind of pressure fluctuations that are often experienced with common compressors featuring automatic switch-off functions (and which don’t have an air tank of any sort). Thus, you can immediately resume your work at the same pressure as you paused at. According to the manufacturer, this function increases the lifespan of the compressor, since the device is turned on and off much, much less than common models. In the special table stand that comes with the delivery, a trigger is built-in, which reacts to weight. The weight of the airbrush presses on the trigger when in the correct holder position and the compressor starts up immediately. A moisture separator and a pressure regulator are also integrated into the stand. This construction can be affixed to any typical table top.
