Suitable reference images of skulls are hard to find. The perspective, color or light are rarely perfect. That’s what the Skull Sketcher software is for. You can render a male or female skull in 3D. Using the different tools of the software, the size, the viewing angle as well as the surrounding color can be changed intuitively. The lower jaw can be removed or a perspective grid can be added. The sketch mode renders a drawing automatically from the 3D model. Choosing “Save image”, the rendered skull can be saved as an image file in the system’s image folder. It can then be manipulated or composed with other elements using an imaging software. The application is available for Mac and PC.
