Over the course of the last year, we have already introduced the painting of 3D printed objects several times in our issues. In addition to an introduction to 3D printing, you were able to observe the painting of an IronMan figure and we introduced you to the website Gambody.com, which offers a huge selection of digital 3D models for printing and painting. Since late 2020, Airbrush Step by Step magazine has been supporting Gambody’s „Airbrushed 3D Prints Contest“ series on Facebook and featuring the winners and their work in the magazine. Kicking off today are the 11 winners of the December contest, chosen jointly by the Gambody and Airbrush Step by Step teams. The characters are from popular movies and computer games, and their „creators“ come from a total of 10 different countries. They all love both 3D printing and airbrushing and have found their way – one way, another – from one to the other.
